Though we took a short break over Christmas, we’ve been hard at work since. Our XNA framework, Frostwave, is more or less complete (though it’s still buggy.) It’s nothing exciting or worth showing, but the good news is that we can now start work on our next game. Information on the game will hopefully be posted in a couple months!

XNA Life 0.1

Hey there. Vedran and I thought we’d try and make a quick game using leftover technology from Ball Toss, and so we did. We decided to recreate John Conway’s Game of Life, which is an example of cellular automata. The game is relatively featureless and has a couple bugs, but we’re pretty happy with the result. You can download it and find out more information over here.

Here’s a quick video of XNA Life 0.1:

Also, a small update was given to Ball Toss last week, as a bug was reported where you couldn’t achieve 10th place. It’s fixed in 1.01. If you find any more bugs, let us know!
